SoundSpace is a rare studio that combines a technically sophisticated environment, creative workspace, and well over a decade's worth of experience designed specifically for the independent filmmaker.  Matthew Polis, founder and supervising sound editor, graduated NYU Tisch School of the Arts as a filmmaker and found his passion focused on sound design.  In 1997, after winning half-a-dozen sound design awards from Tisch, he opened SoundSpace: The ideal studio for filmmakers looking for a creative, relaxed, yet fully capable environment in which to perfect their audio.

Who is the studio best suited for?  In a word, filmmakers.  From shorts to theatrically distributed documentary and narrative features, over 150 filmmakers have found a home for their film at SoundSpace.

SoundSpace is located just three blocks north of Bryant Park in NYC. Call or email to arrange for a visit!
